Religion in the Middle Colonies What does this quote tell us about religion in the Middle Colonies? “People do not seem to be concerned with what religion their neighbor is. Indeed, they do not seem to care if he has any religion at all.” There was more religious freedom/toleration in the Middle Colonies than in other regions. Many people came to the Middle Colonies for the freedom to practice their religion.
