French Population There are over 65 Million live in France. The five highest populated French areas are: Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Nice and Toulouse.

French Civil War/ French Revolution The French Civil War began in the reign of King Louis XVI and Queen Mary Antoinette (who was Austrian) who were later overthrown when King Louis was recognised, trying to escape, on the back of a coin! The peasants won and France is now ruled by a Republic.
