CAMEROON

TOURIST ATRACTTIONS  Mefou national park is the home of 320 primates. This park rescues injured gorillas to give them veterinary treatment and health. This park gives a educational program to kids and adults. Here some Cameroonian kids and adults sees for first time a living primate. And you also can go to see and appreciate the monkeys  Mount Cameroon is an active volcano near the gulf of guinea, it is also named Fako, you can climb this volcano and see the nice views of Cameroon  Chutes de la lobe is a cascade in Cameroon that is very special because the river lobe leads directly on the ocean. Here is a beach where you can see two types of turtles putting eggs

Customs  The customs in Cameroon are not very different for example in religion, the 40% of the population follows indigenous beliefs,40% are Christians and 20% are Muslims. They religious groups doesn't have problems with each other but the north of the country is Muslim and the south is Christian. Also a tradition in this country is to have a extended family and the youngest of the family is in charge of take care of the oldest groups of the family.  Cameroon have 250 ethnicity groups  They speak English and French, the school system is different tan the other. The French region is dominant

Greetings  Cameroon is home of 230 languages. These include 55 Afro-Asiatic languages, two Nilo-Saharan languages, and 173 Niger-Congo languages. But English and French are the local languages. And the majority of Cameroonians speak both languages and this because the government established several bilingual schools. And is basically the normal French and the normal English.  Examples of Greetings in both languages are: Hello (in English, in the west Cameroon) and Bonjour (in French)

Interesting facts  The flag of Cameroon has a meaning as all the flags in the world. The Green color means the African Savannah. The red color with the star means the unity among people. And the yellow color means the sun.  When Somebody falls in Cameroon the people next to you is going to say sorry even if he or she doesn't make anything  A lot of people in Cameroon doesn't know how to swim.
