Where is my page? How do you find the page you want to edit? BASIC URL CONVENTIONS /dir1/dir2/filename.html Example:

File Permissions You will have permissions to edit only files in your direct job functional area If you can not access a file in your area, see Brandon Dybala.

Creating New Files To create a file from scratch Click “Add a content file”

Creating New Files Specify the Template type Specify the Filename –This will be the name you see in the directory listings and in the URL When finished hit “Save & Go” Specify the Title this will be used in the navigation File Naming Rules: Never use spaces Use lower case Use short filenames (<15)

Review Your Work Be sure to view your changes in a browser BEFORE they are reviewed, or “Go Live” Things do not always look the same in the editor as they do when viewed in a browser Check all links (click on each one) Check to be sure all navigation items are present Check image alignment

Go Live After you are done editing a file –Submit for review Or –Go Live –Make sure to ADD COMMENTS !

Go Live For Approvers Click “Approve” to elevate to the next level Or click “Go Live” if you are the last or only approver

Uploading Files Use the “Add Media File” button Select file type –“Document” for MS Word, MS Excel, text or PDF –"Image" for image files (.jpg,.gif,.bmp) Display Properties and check navigation

Uploading Files Change the file name (must include extension) Specify the Title – this will be used in the navigation Browse to the file on your local hard drive Save & Go

Copying Files Check the file to copy Do it Choose the directory Select "Copy"

Deleting Files Check the file you want to delete Select "Delete" Be sure to check the “Go live with deleted files” checkbox in the comments pop up

Using the WYSIWYG Editor WYSIWYG = What You See Is What You Get Basic MS Word style editing tools Mouse over any icon to get a short description

Using the WYSIWYG Editor When copying from Microsoft applications you MUST copy and paste the text into a simple editor such as Notepad first –This removes the formatting characters inserted by Microsoft –Then copy and paste from THIS new editor into the WYSIWYG editor window in Landscaper

Using the WYSIWYG Editor Once the text is pasted into Notepad: Delete all line breaks (not paragraph breaks) Delete all bullets (use WYSIWYG to add) Rebuild tables in WYSIWYG or upload as a separate file

Using the WYSIWYG Editor WYSIWYG TIPS (html editor) Shift + Enter = 1 line Enter = 2 lines Ctrl + Z = Undo Ctrl + Y = Redo Ctrl + X = Cut Ctrl + C = Copy Ctrl + V = Paste Ctrl + A = Select All

Using the WYSIWYG Editor Adding Images (Inside the WYSIWYG) Position the cursor in the textarea Click the "Insert Landscaper Image" icon Browse to your image Click to insert
