Who am I? Kelly Gasper BSc MCSP AACP Physiotherapist Born in Bethnal green in 1980 Grew up in hackney and Waltham Forest

Education GCSEs A-levels Sports Studies & Business NVQ Massage & Aromatherapy Access to Science Physiotherapy Degree

Background School Sports Teams Netball, Basketball, Hockey, Football Athletics and X-Country Finished school – started college Lifeguard part-time while at college Sports coach Didn’t get the grades needed for uni Full time Administration job in sports centre for 4years

What’s important to me? Income Job security Job satisfaction Time

Change of plan Fitness Instructor ETM, Aqua, curcit, spinning GP referral Personal Trainer Self Employed Fitness Instructor and sports coach

Age 26 I enjoy teaching fitness classes I earn decent money (£200 – £500pw) I have no job security, AL, Sick pay, pension Could I cope for another 10 years ?Physical exertion, CPD Made decision to return to uni.

You all have it in you to achieve and be successful in a job that you enjoy and that pays good money!

Thought of the day. Enjoy being young whilst you work toward your goals and then you get to enjoy being old too!
