Drag- The force that opposes thrust.
Connected to thrust because they are equal and opposite.
Thrust- The force pushing back causing the plane to move forward.
Connected to force because thrust is a force.
Force- The capacity to do work or cause physical change; energy, strength, or active power
Connected to lift because they are equal and opposite.
Lift- Air pressure underneath the plane is greater that the air pressure above.
Connected to weight because lift opposes weight.
Weight- The force being pulled down.
Connected to gravity because weight is caused by gravity.
Gravity- The force or pull exerted between two objects.
Connected to center of gravity because gravity causes the center of gravity.
Center of Gravity- A point where the nose and tail stay equal. Equal to nose. Equal to tail.
Connected to Newton's 3 rd law because Newton's 3 rd law is in affected with the center of gravity.
Newton’s 3 rd law- For every action there is an equal but opposite reaction.
Connected to Bernoulli's Principle because they were both people who worked with flight and its principles.
Bernoulli’s Principle- Slow Air = High Pressure Fast Air= Low pressure
Connected to Wing because it describes the air and the way the air moves over and under the wing.
Wing- The center of the plane (or object) that causes lift.
