What is reading?... Well, basically the reading festival is where famous people perform and people stay for at least 3-4 days in a tent. This year it would be 10 th time the reading festival will perform.

Facts….. It takes three weeks to prepare the reading festival site and two weeks to take it down again. Over 150 crew build the site. The Reading and Leeds festivals combined produce over 300 tonnes of rubbish, which it takes two weeks to clear at the end of the weekend. Over 7000 bags of rubbish were recycled in 2004 through the onsite litter exchanges.

More Facts… There are over 800 toilets on site. There are 90 food traders onsite, selling a variety of food, from burgers to pasta, doughnuts and even salad! More than 250,000 burgers and hot dogs were eaten over the course of the 2004 Reading and Leeds festivals. Over 3500 people work at the festival
