Do Now 11/6/15 On the next page of your notebook, write today’s date. Then pick your favorite song (or one song you really like) and tell me about it. Describe it. What does it sound like? How do you recognize it? Make sure you use complete sentences Use as much detail as possible You may or may not include the song’s title…it’s up to you Note to substitute…give them a few minutes to complete this

What did you include? Did you mention the lyrics or what the song is about? Did you mention who sings it? Did you mention the instruments used? Did you discuss how the song starts out and what it does later (2 nd verse, etc)?
