Sound and lighting in films. By Mujebur Rahman 

What I focused on.  Lighting for the actors  Sound that you hear (cinema and home)

What is lighting (the basics).

The purpose.  The main purpose of lighting is to create realism  To give texture and tone  To make actors TV friendly not offensive (photogenic)  To give “artistic anticipation”

Sound

The purpose  To create feeling  To make the action real  To give clarity  To give body  To move you

Progression.  We have evolved to theatres or cinemas plus sound for a live effect 10.2  Home entertainment systems has increased to 8.1, so that it feels you are in the action  New top of the range cameras that auto balance

Types of lights and effects used in horror movies. Extreme Close Up: This is used to Emphasise something or to show detail. Other angles that are common are: Tilt Extreme long shots
