DVFS Overview : What is DVFS ? : DVFS stands for Dynamic Voltage Frequency Scaling This feature gives the ability to MCU or DSP ( or both ) to upscale core frequency when more MIPS are required ( and to downscale accordingly) MCU in normal mode is running out of the MCU MHz and switching to 532 MHz in Turbo mode DSP, in normal mode, is running out of the DSP and this PLL frequency is upscaled to 250 Mhz in Turbo Mode. Argon Core voltage is switching between normal and turbo mode settings ( 1.2 – 1.6 V).
