November 22, 2008ISOC BoT Meeting - Minneapolis10 Community Reaction to Trust Report Several good questions were raised during the open mic Q&A including: What IPR rights and legal provisions pertain to pre-RFC5378 contributions into the IETF? Answer: "We need to secure additional rights from the original authors for derivative works." What IPR rights and legal provisions pertain to "non- IETF" submissions? Answer: "We do not know, except that this is not an issue for the IETF Trust."
