Animal Abuse By Caitlyn Hughes

What is Animal Abuse? Animal abuse is when a person(s) hurt and harm an animal on purpose. A person(s) could neglect them and not take care of them right.

What did I do to help Abused Animals? I helped abused animals by volunteering at the SPCA here in Manteo. I worked from 8 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon, helping the staff provide food and a clean place to sleep for the animals kept there. By the end of the day I even wound up adopting one of the dogs that I had played with.

How can you help stop Animal Abuse? Call in a tip to the SPCA of any abuse/neglect cases of animals that you see. Do not abuse/neglect your own animal; take good care of them. Volunteer at your local animal shelter. Treat all animals right.
