TODAY’S TASKS  Group discussion of content for two web-based outcomes of the meeting: 1.MS disease state overview and review of emerging technologies and treatments 2.Draft recommendations for information about opportunities and challenges in MS  Recommendations for MS professional training programs, the CMSC and the FCMSC

Medical Implications  MS is a complex, dynamic, chronic illness requiring medical professionals with experience in identifying, diagnosing and treating patients with MS  Planning of care for patients with MS should be flexible and nimble to meet the individualized needs of patients and their families  You are the future – Your feedback today is as important as your contributions over the next decades

 What was new information for you?  Neuroimmunology  Imaging  Symptomatic treatment  What were “take home points” important enough to spend time telling someone about?  Were there revelations that provide insight and might guide the future of better diagnosis or treatment?

Task #2 Career Path and Training Decisions

What Would You Share with Other Trainees?  What do you still need to know?  Best advice for others at critical career points  Recommendations for information about opportunities and challenges in MS

MS Mentorship Forum  Program Evaluations  Post-Meeting Feedback  Follow-up at 15 th Annual CMSC Meeting – Indianapolis, May 27-30, 2015
