Call Center Infrastructure Technological Foundation of Response: –Telephony (911, call and radio recording, etc.) –Card access including door alarms –Video surveillance –Centralized alarm response, e.g., fire and panic –Personal Safety and Security Assist Service
Assist Service History Safety Escort: –Began in early 1990s –Established to assist students with their safety –Still operational with addition of virtual assist Personal Safety and Security Assist Service: –Fall started, 6 month implementation –Spring campus pilot –Fall full implementation
