5 What is God’s vision? Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint (or are discouraged), but blessed is he who keeps the law. Proverbs 29:18

6 We need God’s vision!!! And he said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is exalted among men is an abomination in the sight of God. Luke 16:15

7 What is God’s Vision? Blessed be his glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with his glory! Amen and Amen! Psalm 72:19

8 What is God’s Vision? For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea. Habakkuk 2:14

9 What is God’s vision? Part of the Lord’s Prayer: Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10 Is God’s will done on Earth as in Heaven? Why does God have us pray for this?

11 What is God’s vision? And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

12 The four verbs of Matthew 28:18-20:  go  make disciples  baptize  teach them to obey make disciples l how?

13 “Make disciples of all nations” has two parts ：  Quantity= All nations  Quality = Make disciples What should we do if our ministries, methods, or traditions will not be able attain both aspects?

14 What is God’s vision? What exactly is a disciple? So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples John 8:31

15 God’s Vision is:  May the whole earth be filled with his glory (Ps. 72:19)  The earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD (Hab. 2:14)  For God’s will to be done, on earth as it is in heaven (Matt. 6:10)  We need to go and make disciples of all nations (Matt. 28:19)

21 The purpose of your existence is:  God created you for His glory (Isaiah 43:7 )  God calls you into his own kingdom and glory. (1 Thess. 2:12)  Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. (1 Cor. 10:31)  Live for Jesus and not yourself (2 Cor. 5:15)

22 The purpose of your existence is: How?  Jesus accomplished the work that the Father gave Him to do. (John 17:4)  The Father is glorified when we bear much fruit and so prove ourselves to be His disciples. (John 15:8)
