Armature Air Gapping Engine Cooling

Flywheel Armature Spark Plug Spark Plug Wire

Armature Flywheel Armature Gap

First: Refer to the manual to identify the gap specs

Next: Find the appropriate gapping gauge

Next: Insert the gauge into the armature gap and adjust if necessary

It transfers an electric charge from the from the flywheel magnets to the ignition system and ultimately to the spark plug

The narrower the gap, the better the spark.

Could result SKID MARKS on the rim of the flywheel and wearing of components

Also results in wear and tear of the armature
