CNY Project CHARACTER* …is based on successful grants created by Dr. Carroll awarded by the USDE Character Education Program for Harlem (2002—07) and Yonkers (2008—present) Public Schools
CNY Project CHARACTER* …will be a scientifically- based study to demonstrate that the successes achieved in large urban districts can be replicated among city, rural suburban, and nonpublic school districts.

CNY Project CHARACTER* …is designed to supplement, not supplant, any school’s existing character education program and requires no additional expenses (other than perhaps substitutes for 5 teachers per district on 4 release day workshops)
C ITIZENSHIP The Character Education Public Policy Analyst: Define (1) schoolwide, (2) classroom & (3) curriculum social problems & develop new public policy solutions
H igh A cademic standards CEPPA & PPA & character ed will promote academic improvement.
