We intend to focus the project around your needs and interests Both pursuing careers in physical education and teaching

About the Academy! Series of extra-curricular sessions that will run every Wednesday 3:15 – 4:15 – With an afternoon sports festival during the final week Extra curricular Club aiming to cater for the diverse needs of pupils excelling with in PE. Gifted & Talented pupils who have demonstrated potential in PE will be selected by their teachers Every pupil who is selected will have the opportunity to learn new skills weekly and demonstrate these through the range of activities on offer. We will deliver activities that foster the skills for prolonged involvement in PE and sport.

An insight to the activities on offer throughout the programme The programme incorporates a variety of sporting skills, which are delivered in an innovative manner, whilst still carrying the values of traditional sports. Each week will have different focus meaning that the more sessions you attend: the more you will learn. Activities will include aspects of: – Invasion games – Striking and fielding games – Net and wall games Skills learned will be transferable

Outcomes of the project To be part of an innovative new academy which is exclusive to the school – no other school in Lincolnshire has this opportunity so take advantage.
