Find artwork and text files from www.cengagebrain.com Read the Getting Started section in Chapter 1. Modify InDesign preferences as described in the Getting Started section in Chapter 1.

The importance of keyboard shortcuts… They save time. They should be memorized. Knowing them will make you faster than your peers. Look for these keyboard shortcut icons in each chapter!

Tips for Success Practice using InDesign for at least 30 minutes each day. Watch the demonstrations and read the corresponding chapter in the textbook. Complete the review questions. Save frequently, and make back ups of your work. Do all the projects, using keyboard shortcuts whenever possible!
