SURFACE DANGER SDAD AREA DIAGRAM

TERMINAL LEARNING OBJECTIVE ACTION: Construct A Surface Danger Area Diagrams. CONDITIONS: In a classroom environment, Given a grid coordinate scale, map ruler, tracing paper and a bar compass. STANDARD: Within 60 minutes, construct two Surface Danger Area Diagrams using the designated 25mm impact media with no more than 1/2 degree error on the left OR right side of the Gun Target Line measured from the pinwheel. When measured no more than 50 meters of error on either side of the Gun Target Line. With no broken lines, extended lines or protruding marks that exceed 20 meters.

Rules of Engagement YOU loose it YOU buy it !!!! Do not Fold the Maps, they will be rolled. If you need more paper or lead, ask your buddy first. If he is out, then get with me. Keep your MOUTH SHUT when I am talking, I don’t talk to hear myself. Please stand up when asking a question, addressing the Instructor or the class. Drinking is permitted, but try to use a bottle that can be closed. Be careful when using the Bar Compasses the needle points are very sharp. I take breaks too- if you have a question ask it during the class.

ENABLING LEARNING OBJECTIVE:1 ACTION: Identify the dimensions for 25mm Impact Media. CONDITION: In a classroom environment, given a FM 22-3.1. STANDARD: The student must learn the Data for 25mm Impact Media.

ENABLING LEARNING OBJECTIVE:2 ACTION: Construct a Surface Danger Area Diagram. CONDITION: In a classroom environment, given a 1:25,000 scaled map, grid coordinate scale, map ruler, tracing paper, and a mechanical pencil. STANDARD: Within 60 minutes, construct two Surface Danger Area Diagrams using the designated 25mm impact media with no more than ½ degree error on the left or right side of the gun target line measured from the pinwheel, no more than 50 meters of error on either side of the gun target line. With no broken lines or protruding marks that do not exceed 20 meters.
