Purposes of Research Proposal 1- The document to convince his/her dissertation. 2- Guides the development of the research. 3- Helps the researcher to organize his/her efforts. 4- Gives a chance to exchange ideas. 5- Research assumptions. 6- Research data. 7- Research conclusion. 8- Ends with a resolution of the problem. 9- Research generates new questions.

Characteristics of Research Proposal 1- Should be a straightforward document. 2- Should be communicate clearly. 3- Should be clear organized.

Organization of Proposal 1- the research proposal- with modest modification- becomes the first three chapters of the research report. 2- the research report- the dissertation- usually consists of five chapters.
