Overview and History  HDMI is an acronym for High Definition Multimedia Interface.  It was designed by several companies such as Hitachi, Panasonic, Phillips, Silicon Image, Sony, Thomas and Toshiba in  They were produced and sold in  It was a big hit and money maker.  Creates better resolution (720p or 1080p)  This means there are 720 or 1080 pixels per second on the screen.

Future Trends  HDMI has already developed so much by increasing Hz (herts).  Future models will have higher Hz and better resolution, creating the best video and audio.
