Dynamic HD Text and Graphics Offers the ability to RIP files at 1200 dpi to preserve high detail content in the document and reduce the jaggedness associated with half-toned, non-saturated objects. Delivers the industry’s best text, logo, fine lines and graphics quality. Dynamic HD Text & Graphics offers the ability to RIP files at 1200 dpi to preserve high detail content in the document and reduce the jaggedness associated with half-toned, non-saturated objects. Pixels that contain the high detail content can be passed at high resolution from the Fiery server to the print engine, effectively increasing the print engine’s native resolution. There are several factors that can influence the text and line qualities of documents, including halftone selection, media selection and color management selections. Dynamic HD Text & Graphics functions equally well on both Black and Color elements.

Dynamic HD Text and Graphics Non-saturated Graphics in HD Modes Low, Medium & High Non-saturated Graphics in HD Modes Low, Medium & High When HD is enabled, graphics is enhanced in the Medium and High modes to take advantage of the VCSEL-ROS resolution and to prevent jaggedness typically associated with edge interference with halftone structures. In Low mode, no enhancement is enabled. Enhancement is disabled in the Low mode for the cases text needs to be enhanced but graphics should be left undisturbed. When Medium is selected, a mild enhancement is applied to graphics. Finally, where edge definition for non-saturated lines is paramount, such as architectural drawings, full enhancement to graphics is enabled. Notice the increase in both fineness and smoothness of the lines, especially the fine detailing lines in the bumper. HyperRIP* Enhancements Generic DFE 40% Faster! With FS100 Pro 55% Faster! With FS150 Pro Fiery server Fiery HyperRIP in FS150 Pro systems is even more powerful than in previous versions. Now HyperRIP splits the job into four logical parts for parallel job processing, instead of two. This means the Fiery server processes a job an average of 15% faster than with earlier versions of HyperRIP, and an average of 55% faster than a Fiery server without the HyperRIP feature. Minimum Fiery hardware requirements: 8 CPU cores 16 GB of RAM memory FS150 Pro system software Fiery HyperRIP is only available for Fiery QX100 server platforms. Fiery FS150 Pro systems automatically detect hardware resources to apply HyperRIP to jobs by using two or four RIPs. It uses four RIPs when the Fiery server has at least 16 GB of RAM or more, and two RIPs when the Fiery server has more than 8 GB. The processing bar in Command WorkStation Job Center is split, showing two or four progress bars side by side — updating simultaneously and independently to track HyperRIP progress.
