Introduction bin/Dev_DocDB/DisplayMeeting?conferenceid=54http://juno.ihep.ac.cn/cgi- bin/Dev_DocDB/DisplayMeeting?conferenceid= days of workshop, focusing on software side – How to install/run/analyze current simulation? I will try to summarize the various topics discussed in this workshop

Better than 2.5 MeV is the requirement
One can consider P.E. counting for distance PMT and late light etc.
Two electronics scheme: – IHEP: global trigger read everything after trigger – German: triggerless only read things once passing certain threshold lower threshold? Loss information?
6 Acrylic Option From inside to outside: liquid scintillator, acrylic sphere, water, strut and stainless steel truss. Number of stainless steel struts: 480. Strut outer Radius : 51mm Strut thickness: 12 mm. 560 PMTs removed because of stainless steel struts. Number of PMTs: Coverage ~75.27%. 400mm Stainless Steel Strut Stainless Steel Acrylic thickness: 12cm Ziyan Deng
7 Balloon Option From inside to outside: liquid scintillator, balloon, acrylic board,LAB, strut and stainless steel tank. The material of balloon is nylon, ETFE, or FEP, or some other materials In the simulation we assume that strut is same as acrylic option, but material is acrylic. Number of PMTs: Coverage ~75.27%. If acrylic struts are thin enough to be placed in the gap between PMTs, coverage is 77.8% Acrylic board Balloon Thickness of balloon: 200um, acrylic board: 1cm Acrylic strut Ziyan Deng
8 TotalPE distribution with/without explosion proof Acrylic OptionBalloon Option Acrylic option: refractive index of acrylic and water different. Balloon option: refractive index of acrylic and LAB similar. With/without explosion proof, PMT placement is the same. Ziyan Deng
Comments of Resolution study Still need to include the electronics simulation into the chain Noise has not been totally added for the resolution study Some dedicated toy simulation has been worked out to attack some particular problem

Simulation Support For each sub-system, what simulation supports do you need? – How much effort can each sub-system working group put in? We can hold a dedicated meeting to teach running simulation – A list of major questions needs to be addressed for the Feb workshop as well as the following proposal submission We can try to cover as much as we could Current man-power (Xin, Chao, Jiajie) – Calibration tube for Pelletron – Water Pool Simulation – … – More people are welcome!
