In the Church Body B. Younger people: Be subject to the elders (5:5a) 1.” Younger” in years as well as in the Christian faith. 2. “young” in training for a deacon position
In the Church Body C. All: be humble toward each other (5:5-6) 1.toward each other 2. toward God

We live by God’s Word (Matthew 4:1-4) B. In spite of temptation to test God, Jesus did not wrongly apply biblical promise (Matthew 4:5-8) C. In spite of His longing, Jesus did not trade eternal glory for a cheap imitation of “glory”
