What Was School like 100 Years Ago? A class at the turn of the century.

RULES FOR TEACHERS 100 YEARS AGO To wear at least two petticoats. Never to wear dresses that were more than two inches above her ankles. To wear dark-colored clothes. Never to dye her hair. Never to get married. To start a fire in the schoolhouse every morning so the room would be warm when the children arrived.
