A MELIA E ARHART  Amelia Earhart and her sister were raised to think that they could do anything boys could do.  In 1921, Amelia Earhart became a licensed pilot.  She became the first female to fly across the Atlantic Ocean.  During her attempt to fly around the world at the equator, Amelia Earhart’s plane disappeared and was never found.  The mystery of what happened to Amelia Earhart continues today and there have been many theories.
