Region 4 PACE Responsibilities –Provide training to new and continuing Section PACE leaders –Promote professional activities and authorize partial funding –Promote attendance to annual leadership workshop Key items in 2005 –Authorized Funding for 9 PACE projects –28 attended Leadership Workshop in 2005

Region 4 PACE 2006 – ADDITIONAL TASKS (1)  Request additional Region support for 2007 IEEE-USA Workshop participants.  Send Bi-monthly to Section & Region leaders with timely PACE information.  Request Section Professional Development Plan to be submitted to Region for review and comment.

Region 4 PACE ADDITIONAL TASKS (2)  Encourage each Section to have at least one pre-college competition in  Encourage each Section to use one of the presentations on the PACE CD at Section meetings.  Request creation of a “PACE BLOG” where Sections can share lessons learned and PACE success stories.

Region 4 PACE ADDITIONAL TASKS (3)  Request that information about what PACE is, its mission statement, and criteria for funding be put on the Region web site.  Request previous PACE project reports be put on the Region web site.  Request PACE CD to be put on the Region web site.
