Edgar Allan Poe born in Boston on January 19 th he went to an academy and succeeded in athletics later he would eventually goes Into the University of Virginia goes by Edgar Poe. In 1831, Edgar Allen Poe went back to New York where he had some of his poetry published. He submitted stories to numbers of magazines but they were all rejected. Edgar finally got a an editor of a newspaper because of a contest he had won with his story “Manuscript found in a Bottle”

In June of 1849, Poe left New York and went to Philadelphia, where he visited his friend John Sartain. Poe left Philadelphia in July and came to Richmond. He stayed at the Swan Tavern Hotel but joined "The Sons of Temperance" in an effort to stop drinking. On September 30 Poe meant to go to New York but took the wrong train to Baltimore. Sometime in 1840, Edgar Poe joined George R. Graham as an editor for Graham's Magazine.

I think that poe’s death most likely occurred due to an alcohol problem. Poe engaged in bouts of drinking particularly due to Virginia's long time illness. It has Also been suggested that poor nutrition and a weakened condition brought on by other illnesses. And due to overworking himself to try and keep him and Virginia healthy.

 “The Masque of the read death” interested me the most reason being is because the red death is known for A disease known as the Red Death plagues the fictional country where this tale is set, and it causes its victims to die quickly and gruesomely how it happen is there’d these different color rooms which indicate each symbolic notation to each line up. (Slide 1 of 2)

(slide 2 of 2) another story which is “The tell tale heart” is another one of my favorites because Poe uses his words economically in the “Tell Tale Heart” it is one of his shortest stories to provide a study of paranoia and mental deterioration.
