OT DISCIPLINE  Personal hygiene - Nails, cleaned dress.  Punctuality  OT dress - Cap and mask fully covered hair cap and mask.  Use OT slippers in OT only  Team Work  Good scrub - According to procedure prescribed.  Post scrub - Hand kept close and not below waist.

 Wear sterile glove and gown.  Gloves powder completely washed.  Back side of gown not to touch, table, tray and other sterile instruments.  Running nurse should not cross into sterile zone.  Running nurse should be very careful. In case of any unsterile she should inform it immediately to the assisting nurse.

 Take care not to touch non sterile part of micro scope.  Inform pre-op instruction –like ppc-one eyed and other complicated cases.  Check the eye to the operated and check block before putting drape.  Head position of patient.  Should know how to give instruments to Doctors.  TIP not touched while giving instruments  IOL power of lens should be checked  All post of instruction carefully entered.  One eyed carefully take out of OT  Patient’s satisfaction
