The Institution The Barcelona Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation is a century old institution, founded in 1886, but with an impressive historical background dating back to the Middle Ages due to its ties with the Consolat de Mar (Sea Consulate) and the Reial Junta Particular de Comerç (Royal Council of Private Commerce).

Representative of the Barcelona Business Area The Chamber has a network of 10 delegations and two antennae distributed throughout the territory. This presence throughout the territory allows the Chamber to get to know closely the reality and dynamism of the economics of the region and establish close contact with businesses in order to better attend to their needs and offer them services.
