“No, looking back at photographs of myself I get better as I get older. No, looking back at photographs of when I was a student, it’s sad but as you get [Why is it sad?] Well I think you just looked younger, but quite immature really, but as you get older you look better.... Well I think Sean Connery is the best example, ugly bastard, but in a way from a man’s point of view, he has got older, he has lost his hair and everything else and you read in the newspaper that everybody thinks he is great and he has a tremendous presence (Man, 49, normal weight).

“The whole idea that men as they get older they look distinguished, whereas women as they get older, there’s not a nice word of it is there, you don’t say, oh she looks distinguished at 60, whereas for a man, Sean Connery, you say, oh doesn’t he look distinguished or handsome or whatever, it not the same for women (Woman, 22, underweight).”
