Grading Assignments must be turned in ON TIME to receive full credit. Late assignments will be docked one FULL grade. (If it was an A paper, it is now a B paper. If it was a C paper, it is now a D paper) You will complete a work notebook for each chapter or unit of study. This will be checked on the day of the test for that chapter or unit. Use pencil, black, or blue ink for ALL assignments. If I can’t read it, it doesn’t get a grade. You will either have 3-4 assignments a week, or 1 large assignment that is given on Monday and due on Friday.

If you are absent you can access your homework on my website, which you can find at Tests will include a variety of different types of questions (true/false, multiple choice, short answer, essay, fill in the blank, etc) Tests may be retaken within 1 week after the first test IF the student attends a tutoring session before or after school that week 35% of your grade is based on your homework/essays, 35% is based on tests, quizzes, and essays, and 25% will be based on reports and presentation, and 5% will be based on participation. Participation= attendance, homework completion, # of tardies
