Department of Business Administration Proposed MS in Accounting March 14, 2002 Motivation for Master of Science Degree Stricter requirements for licensure-qualifying accounting programs – 150 semester hours of collegiate study in specified content areas – Program must be in place no later than Fall 2004 for Spring 2009 graduating class – Recommendation of SUNY Central to pursue the MS in Accounting (July 2001)
