Eli didn’t do anything to stop his sons from going their own way instead of God’s way.

Isaiah 53:6a Jesus willingly died to take the punishment you deserve even though you choose to go against God.

God saw the sin of Eli’s sons. Samuel chose to obey God’s right ways.

Here I am. You called me. I did not call you.
