When he was very young. Adam Smith’s birth date is not known, but he was baptised on the fifth of June 1723 in Kirkcaldy, Scotland. He was kidnapped when he was 3 but was later returned to his widowed mother

Universities Adam Smith went to the University of Glasgow when he was fourteen years of age. Then in 1740 he went to the Balliol college, Oxford.

Also………. Adam Smith was a pioneer of political economy. Smith is best known for two classic works: The theory of Moral Sentiments (1759), and An inquiry of the Nature and causes of the wealth of Nations (1776).
