Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Offering Bars

In order to encourage Students to choose more fresh fruits and vegetables, we implemented self service, refrigerated offering bars. This allows students to see a variety of items available to them to select from

Since adding these serving bars, we have seen a significant increase in the fresh fruits, vegetables and salads students choose to make part of their meal

Now that entrée salads and sandwiches on whole grain bread are more visible, students have more than doubled the number of these items chosen

These serving units work well in all different line configurations

Now it is even easier to chose a well balanced meal and to “put a rainbow on your plate”!

Information Cost – Approximately $1,500 per unit Plug into an existing electrical outlet so start- up is minimal Come with a cover for time not in use Keeps all items at a safe temperature during service Safely sits on a serving line or table Cost – Approximately $1,500 per unit Plug into an existing electrical outlet so start- up is minimal Come with a cover for time not in use Keeps all items at a safe temperature during service Safely sits on a serving line or table If you have any questions, Please feel free to call SueAnn x23
