lesson 13 Bermuda Triangle Step 1. Information about Bermuda Triangle The Bermuda Triangle, sometimes called “The Graveyard of the Atlantic”, is one of the greatest mysteries of the world. This is an area of the Western Atlantic between Bermuda and Florida, roughly triangular in shape, where isnce 1945 more than a hundred planes and ships have disappeared and over a thousand people have been lost, without a single body or a piece of wreckage from the vanishng ships or planes having been found. It is as if these planes, ships, and people had never existed. Disappearances in theBermuda Triangle have continued to the present day with apparently increaing frequency, in spite of the fact that the seaways and airways are more travelled, searches are more thorough and records are more carefully kept. Many theories have been put forward to account for te incidents that happen in this area, but so far not an explanation is satisfactory.
