Please check Stem Registration posted in hallway – it includes registration date If you still need to edit your forms – Chrome works best 3 rd quarter extra credit – present STEM project during Explorer Period in C101- this is an opportunity for teams to practice together Homework: DUE TUESDAY 1/20 – Trifold due prior to 8 am on Tuesday 1/20 –see sample on website and rubric – STEM Research Paper – see sample on website and rubric - be sure you have had this proofread at least twice by someone other than yourself or your team – STEM lab notebook (paper and lab notebook sit by trifold – Business attire is not required at in-class STEM fair – Refer to stem website to see what judges are expecting when preparing your presentation Prepare a 5-8 min presentation; rehearse in front of mirror; eliminate filler words - auh, umm, like Begin presentation by smiling, introducing yourself/group, making eye contact and shaking hands – you offer your hand first Start presentation with why you selected your project topic – why it is meaningful to you and why it is relevant Tell what you did, what you discovered, what you learned, what you would do differently or next steps Refer to your trifold, research paper, and lab notebook during the presentation Teams – divide presentation equally – all members must participate equally and demonstrate knowledge
