Hahgoot and Alma were pleasantly surprised by a cute card from Koren, that included glow in the dark bracelets for the New Year’s Eve celebrations.

This year we decided to do a very low key celebration, skip the fireworks due to Alma’s sleep schedule and just enjoy a BBQ with Alison and Moshe in Quakers Hill. It was a good idea: everyone had a fun time and the food was great!

Hahgoot loves her glow in the dark accessories! This year I tried glow in the dark swords, which everyone enjoyed.

If you fight with your sister, at least do it with style...

At the end of the evening Alison and Moshe took us to see how some houses in the area were decorated for Christmas. The first house we saw was nice... But the next one was utterly amazing! It wins many prizes each year, and so does its neighbour, which you’ll see shortly.

This is the second house, which is fabulous. The amount of detail and effort is unbelievable!

Hahgoot loved the houses when we were there but on the way home started screaming she can’t stop seeing the lights (she over registers the sensations and it takes her mind a much longer time to let go of a stimulation). After a lot of deep pressure and massage at home she finally relaxed.
