D O N OW : Analyze the following statement “As a law-enforcement officer, my fundamental duty is to serve humanity; to safeguard lives and property,; to protect the innocent against deception, the weak against oppression or intimidation, and the peaceful against violence and disorder; and to respect everyone’s constitutional rights to liberty, equality, and justice.” EQ: Do you believe that police officers have lived up to this oath throughout history?
