What am I? by Madison Baker
I am an incredible insect because I can do things animals can’t do.
I mostly eat worms and spiders I find under and on the ground.
I have long antennae to use for smelling my food.
I have a sort of hard sort of soft shell.
I lay up to 60 eggs per year.
I have venomous fangs to kill my prey.
I live in decomposing matter like dead leaves or rotten logs found under rocks.
I crawl on the ground fast to catch my prey.
I only have three main body parts called the trunk, antennae, and head.
I usually I live up to five years.
There are 8,000 species of me.
I am found all over the world like Antarctica and the desert.
What am I?
I am a centipede.
