What am I? by Madison Baker

I am an incredible insect because I can do things animals can’t do.

I mostly eat worms and spiders I find under and on the ground.

I have long antennae to use for smelling my food.

I have a sort of hard sort of soft shell.

I lay up to 60 eggs per year.

I have venomous fangs to kill my prey.

I live in decomposing matter like dead leaves or rotten logs found under rocks.

I crawl on the ground fast to catch my prey.

I only have three main body parts called the trunk, antennae, and head.

I usually I live up to five years.

There are 8,000 species of me.

I am found all over the world like Antarctica and the desert.

What am I?

I am a centipede.
