Describe the similarities and differences New York and the United States experienced while forming their governments. New York -106 people came together -Representatives gathered around the state -Establish land treaties with Native Americans United States Created Constitutions -Passed the Articles of Confederation for weak central government -Meeting of delegates who argued over the role of the central government & how much protection citizens should receive

How did New York play a part in the signing of the United States Constitution? Sequence of Events New York sent delegates to Philadelphia to develop a national constitution. Many New York delegates wanted to add amendments, which happened before signing the Constitution. New York was the eleventh state to ratify, or approve, the United States Constitution.
