Your supervisor needs to see your process journal regularly to know how you are progressing. Supervisors are there to guide you; they will also write a report for assessment purposes.
What are the expectations of your supervisor regarding the process journal? 1.Organization - date your entries, regular meaningful entries, reflections after meetings with supervisor (people you have interviewed, consulted), demonstrating involvement and time-management skills (minimum entries are needed; you will probably have more) 2.Communication – meet regularly, show up at agreed times, let your supervisor know if you are unable to meet, come prepared to give information and ask questions 3.Reflection – record progress, evaluate steps taken (both successes and failures), revise work when needed, reflect on how the project could be improved
