2March 30, 2005R10 Meeting Singapore GREAT NEWS !! R10 became theLARGEST in IEEE worldwide as of DECEMBER 2004 !! R10 Membership vs of R6 (+2008) R10 Growth of 6.7% vs. -0.9% of R6 ALL SECTIONS DID A GREAT JOB !!!! IEEE R10 MDC

5March 30, 2005R10 Meeting Singapore 2004 Review R10 growth consistently higher than other Regions in 2004 (some have negative growth) Overall target of 5% growth was exceeded – 6.7% achieved Target of 2% well-exceeded in HG category – 5.8% achieved -- growth in all, M, SM, F Student Member growth short of ambition of 15% -- achieved 9.7% -- still very good compared to other Regions IEEE R10 MDC

6March 30, 2005R10 Meeting Singapore 2004 Review …Contd Good SM drive by various Sections -- R10 exceeded HQ targets, with 271 SM elevations in 2004 Excellent growth in SBs new added Good growth in new Chapters too – 17 new added One new Subsection (Guntur in Hyderabad Section) added IEEE R10 MDC

7March 30, 2005R10 Meeting Singapore SOME HIGHLIGHTS of 2004 For the first time R10 grant to Sections was distributed based on SBs’ membership on 31 st Dec. and list provided to Sections Outstanding overall growth exhibited by Hyde- rabad Section (56%) and Pune Subsection (54%) Hyderabad showed 37% growth in full Member too and 57% in student category and added one new Subsection GUNTUR IEEE R10 MDC
