Come with me, and explore paths unknown.

As with the allegory of the cave, to know only one place creates knowledge shared only with those who also live in that space and time,

a heart which believes only in the correctness of its own truths,

and a mind which fears what it does not understand.

But just as Plato taught us, these things held true may be mere shadows of that which is real.

And so, we look beyond ourselves and our lives, and wander,

sometimes physically and sometimes only in spirit,

to see beyond the cave, to walk in the light,
