SO MUCH FOR BEING OPTIMISTIC. Hamza AGHENDA

What’s « Development » ?? 1. The systematic use of scientific and technical knowledge to meet specific objectives or requirements. 2. An extension of the theoretical or practical aspects of a concept, design, discovery, or invention. 3. The process of economic and social transformation that is based on complex cultural and environmental factors and their interactions. 4. The process of adding improvements to a parcel of land, such as grading, subdivisions, drainage, access, roads, utilities.

Developed countries The term developed country is used to describe countries that have a high level of development according to some criteria. Which criteria and which countries are classified as being developed, is a contentious issue and is surrounded by fierce debate. Economic criteria have tended to dominate discussions.

What’s those critirion? One such criterion is income per capita ; countries with high gross domestic product (GDP) per capita would thus be described as developed countries.

Another economic criterion is industrialization ; countries in which the tertiary and quaternary sectors of industry dominate would thus be described as developed. More recently another measure, the Human Development Index (HDI), which combines an economic measure, national income, with other measures, indices for life expectancy and education has become prominent. This criterion would define developed countries as those with a very high (HDI) rating.

Here, some data:

Income per capita 2006

What they say Morocco has recently developed a strong and dynamic policy in the area of water. Its strategy involves the need to guarantee the right to water of all citizens in all areas, and makes it possible to benefit from a reliable water infrastructure.

Aware of the importance of biodiversity in sustainable development, Morocco is implementing a national strategy which aims to preserve its organic heritage. Under the scheme, more than 1.2 million acres across the whole country have been replanted with a wide variety of trees.

Morocco is determined to make southern provinces a focus for investment and a model for integrated regional development. They are benefiting from an unprecedented development program. Morocco will diversify its economy away from [agriculture] to develop a more stable economic basis for growth.

Let’s analyze this: The average income per household is 5,300 DH per month

Human Development Index of morocco Between 2010 and 2011 The human developement did change and moved from 0,579 to 0,582

Literacy rate : 35% Unemployment rate : 9,1% poverty rate :28% (2010) 60% of registered companies are : the very small business Moroccan trade balance still in deficit Only 58,3% of houses had a spigot spending on education amounted to 5.5% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP; PIB) Juridical violence occupies rate of 42.2% of all types of violence

Conclusion Morocco Is a great contry, we all should ‘’take care of it ’’; every nation starts from nothing to come up on the top of very developed contries, we wish, once to see our contry noted as one of the very modern land. Good luck for the new government.

So much for being optimistic. Thank you
