German & Allies Forces:  1,011,000 infantry  10,250 artillery  675 tanks  2,732 aircraft Soviet Union:  1,143,500 infantry  13,450 artillery  900 tanks  1,115 aircraft

The Battle of Stalingrad Broke Germany’s back Soviets executed 13,500 of their own men! Germany and Allies:  750,000 k, w, missing  108,000+ captured  900 aircraft  4,300 tanks  91,000 captured  Only 5,000 went home in 1955!! Soviet Union:  1,129,000 k, w, m, c  1,000 to 40,000 civilians killed  2,769 aircraft;  4,340 tanks
