WVN Document Camera2 Document Camera The document camera is used to display paper documents both at your end of the conference and at the far end. The camera can also be used to display standard transparencies or X-rays, etc.

© The JNT Association 2001WVN Document Camera3 Document Camera The document camera captures pictures in full colour. It is also capable of sending a picture of any object that is placed on the surface.

© The JNT Association 2001WVN Document Camera4 Previewing the document camera Press the PREVIEW button on the studio controller to display the document camera picture on the preview monitors. Place a document or object onto the white surface of the document camera.

© The JNT Association 2001WVN Document Camera5 Sending the picture to the far end Press the SEND button on the studio controller to send the picture to the far end of the conference. The local monitor at both ends changes to full screen mode. You can display the picture on your projector at this point (as can the far end).

© The JNT Association 2001WVN Document Camera7 Document camera control The main lamps on the camera are activated automatically when a picture is previewed or sent. You can manually operate the main (or upper) lamps by pressing this button.

© The JNT Association 2001WVN Document Camera8 Document camera control The lower lamp is used when transparencies or similar media is used on the document camera. To activate the lower lamp, press this button.

© The JNT Association 2001WVN Document Camera9 Document camera control In some cases you may prefer not to artificially illuminate the document. To switch off all of the lamps, press this button.

© The JNT Association 2001WVN Document Camera10 Document camera control In order to obtain more detail of the document on the camera it may be necessary to zoom. To zoom in, press this button. Hold the button down to zoom quickly.

© The JNT Association 2001WVN Document Camera11 Document camera control To zoom outwards, press this button. Hold the button down to zoom out quickly. The controls for manual focus (in and out) operate in a similar way. Use the ‘Auto Focus’ button to reactivate this feature.
