Dr Carol Brown 21st Century Thinking Problem-finding Model

Dr Carol Brown 21st Century Thinking Problem Finding Process Combines divergent and convergent thinking. Look for a mess--- my spelling scores are a mess; my parents make me study all afternoon and night and I’m beginning to hate spelling.

Dr Carol Brown 21st Century Thinking Problem Finding Steps Look at your mess and try to put parts of the mess into a question. Frame the question into a problem statement. Begin convergent thinking by asking teachers and parents what they suggest about my spelling. Look on Internet for ideas to help with study skills. Look at all the solutions and put a plan of action on paper. Ask for help from others. Look at my spelling grades again next moth.
